We Really Went From Peas in a Pod to Billionaire Bunkers
What up, Brewsers!
The Legendary Brew Crew is back, and somehow we go from craft beer to “two peas in a pod,” criminal justice, billionaire bunkers, Drake, dogs, TV, music, and whether you should tell somebody when they smell funky. Yeah… it’s one of those episodes.
We kick things off with what we’re drinking, including a shoutout to Porch Beer Drinkers and Volunteer Brewing Company’s Hellas Lager, before the conversation takes the scenic route. We get into the bizarre history of the phrase “two peas in a pod,” then somehow find ourselves talking about consent, the criminal justice system, the death penalty, and the trauma our generation has carried from everything from Columbine to 9/11 to COVID.
Then things take another turn.
We debate billionaire survival bunkers, what happens when money no longer means anything, and whether the ultra rich could actually rebuild civilization after the apocalypse. From there, it’s straight into Drake’s latest visual project, his Degrassi days, his music, and why the Brew Crew has VERY different opinions about Aubrey Graham.
And because this is Brewsing Banter, we couldn't possibly stop there.
We talk about dogs, anxiety, stray dogs going wild, dog poop etiquette, what’s been hitting our screens, A Different World, Dutch, Bodies on Wheels, the music we’ve been discovering, and the eternal question: If somebody smells bad, who is responsible for telling them?
Grab a brew, pull up a chair, and come get into the banter.
Because around here, craft beer is the entry point and culture is the conversation.
Brewsing Banter is proud to be an Async Ambassador! We’re excited to partner with Async to bring our community new ways to connect, discover experiences, and stay tapped into what’s happening across culture and community.
